Biography

Sachin Pannuri has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.  While he progressed in his career as an engineer, he also pursued his passion for fine art by studying at the Yard School of Art (Montclair Museum, NJ) and The Arts Students League (NY). He has recently retired from full time work as an engineer to focus on printmaking.  

He has donated, exhibited, or sold art to generate proceeds for various charities such as Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Multiple Myeloma Society, American Cancer Society, Doctors without Borders, and Visual Aids.

His work is in many individual collections around the world. His art and prints have won the red dot (best in show) at The Art Students League Student Salon shows in 2022 and 2023, respectively and an honorable mention in 2024.  He was elected to become a member of the Society of American Graphic Artists (SAGA) in 2023 and was elected to the SAGA council in 2024.  His print won the Robert Conover Memorial Award at the SAGA Annual Members show in 2023.  He was also awarded second prize at the Mini Gems Print Show (SAGA) in 2024, Salmagundi Club Juried Print Show in 2022. Sachin works in multiple mediums including but not limited to oil, watercolor, and intaglio (Etching and Aquatint).
